The reviewed scientific proceedings of the Hydrometeorology Institute of the Georgian Technical University, “Pressing Problems in Hydrometeorology and Ecology,” is a periodic publication and is issued twice a year.

Articles submitted by the author(s) must be addressed to the Editor-in-Chief and may be written in Georgian, English, or Russian. Each article must be accompanied by two reviews and a brief plagiarism-check report generated using the program available at https://strikeplagiarism.com/en/.

The article must be prepared according to the official template and formatted in accordance with the provided examples.
The Georgian abstract and keywords must be placed at the beginning of the article, while the English and Russian abstracts, together with their respective keywords, must be placed at the end of the article. Keywords in all three languages must be arranged in alphabetical order.

Each abstract should contain 100–150 words, clearly reflecting the main content of the article and the results of the research. The abstract must not include general statements or vague phrases. Translations into foreign languages must be of high quality and based on appropriate disciplinary terminology.

According to the recommendations of international scientific journal databases, the number of cited references should preferably be ten or more. References within the text must follow the order of citation and be indicated by numbers in square brackets. The reference list must be translated into English and attached at the end of the article, with an indication of the original language of each cited source.
Images (photographs) and tables, together with their captions, must be placed within the text. Their digital versions should be prepared in any standard graphic format.

The author must confirm their consent for the publication of the edited and proofread material by signing the final version (the edited version or a manuscript rejected by the Editorial Board will not be returned to the author).

The electronic version of the Proceedings will be uploaded to the journal’s webpage, to the Parliament Library’s digital repository Iverieli, and to the Digital Archive of the Library Consortium of the National Scientific Library of Georgia, where it will be assigned a DSpace identifier.
